BBL

The BBL device is a type of Photofacial. It is similar to a laser, and uses various different wavelengths of light to target redness, pigmentation, sun spots, and sun damage

One of the biggest cosmetic concerns from patients is uneven skin tone and pigmentation caused from years of sun exposure. BBL is the perfect solution for targeting these skin changes. BBL stands for Broad-band light. The BBL device is a type of Photofacial. It works by using various different wavelengths of light to target numerous different skin concerns.

Treatment with BBL can be used to target:

  • Acne
  • Rosacea
  • Redness
  • Blood vessels
  • Pigmentation
  • Sun spots

BBL can be used virtually anywhere on the body and is safe in multiple different skin types! Treatment is quick, easy, and there is minimal pain and downtime.

A topical numbing cream will be used prior to treatment, and then a gel will be applied to the skin so that the handpiece can easily glide during treatment. The treatment will feel like light rubber-band snaps across the skin. Immediately after treatment, the skin will be red and slightly swollen. Over the next several days, there will be redness, mild swelling, and the skin will feel slightly rough as those dead skin cells are coming off. The skin will then peel and reveal a new, even-toned layer!

Patients may see results with just one treatment, but a series of 2-3 is typically recommended for the best results!
